Dear Timberwolf Families,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! We are excited to welcome our students and families back to Rosalia School District and look forward to all that a new school year brings. Whether your family is returning or joining our Timberwolf community for the first time, we are grateful you are here. Our staff has spent the summer preparing classrooms and learning spaces, and we are looking forward to seeing our students walk through the doors again.

As we look ahead with excitement, we also recognize that this past weekend brought worry and uncertainty to many in our area as a fire started near Malden. Our thoughts are with the families, neighbors, first responders, firefighters, and others who have been affected. Events like this remind us how quickly circumstances can change and how important it is to look out for one another. Please continue to follow the guidance of local emergency officials, take care of yourselves and your neighbors, and put safety first. We are grateful for the many people working to keep our communities safe.

This year, our district theme, Building Bridges to Grow Belonging, feels especially meaningful. Belonging is about knowing that we are connected to one another and that we have people beside us during both celebrations and challenges. Strong partnerships between our families, school, and community help create a place where every student feels welcomed, supported, challenged, and valued.

Important Dates

• Starting August 10, 2026: Hard copy registration packets are available at the Main Office.
• August 19, 2026: In-person registration will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• August 31, 2026: Open House from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Come greet your teacher, drop off your school supplies, check out your classroom, and enjoy an ice cream with our Timberwolf community. We can't wait to see you!
• September 2, 2026: First Day of School for Transitional Kindergarten through Grade 12.
• September 16, 2026: First Day of Preschool.

Each school day, doors open at 8:00 a.m. for elementary breakfast transitioning to class instruction at 8:20 a.m., and classes begin at 8:15 a.m. for middle school, and high school students.

As Helen Keller said:

"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."

Those words capture what we hope to carry with us throughout this school year. We will have successes to celebrate and challenges to work through, and we will do both together. By listening, communicating, supporting one another, and keeping our students at the heart of our decisions, we can continue building a school community where everyone has a place and everyone belongs.

Thank you for the trust you place in Rosalia School District and for the many ways you support your children and our school. It is a privilege to serve this community and to work alongside you. There is so much to look forward to, and we are excited to see our Timberwolves back together again!
