Items of Interest...

 As you may have heard, Governor Jay Inslee has ordered all schools in Washington State to be closed as of midnight on Monday, March 16 and continuing the rest of the school year ending June 19th in the wake of the Corona Virus pandemic.  Also, all spring sports have been permanently cancelled for the rest of the school year as per the WIAA.  We will continue to update our parents and community through the use of our robocall system and updates on the www.rosaliaschools.org website as new information becomes available.
 
Below is guidance for respective grade levels, as we will continue to provide learning opportunities through a distance learning model for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year:

Finding Mindfulness during this time of Corona Virus-Dr. Michael Gervais, who works as a sports psychologist with the Seattle Seahawks, explains how to exercise mindfulness during this uncertain time.

Staff Phone Extension Information-If you need to leave a message for a staff member, here is a list of phone extensions, so you can reach the appropriate staff member.  Teaching staff will be making contact with their families the week of March 23rd via phone, email, or social media to connect and serve as is appropriate.  They will also be checking their school voicemail regularly.

The Rosalia School District is receiving regular updates from the Washington State Department of Health on the Coronavirus outbreak.  We will follow their directives on keeping schools open or closing them to prevent the spread of any disease.  As of today, we have NO cases of COVID-19 in Whitman County at this time.  Please check the following links for the latest information:  Whitman County Public Health

Substitute Teacher Openings

If you enjoy working with great students in a small classroom setting, and with a supportive group of teachers and administrators, Rosalia School District is interested in you. We are currently accepting applications for certified substitute teachers. The rate of pay is $120.00 per day. Rosalia School District is a rural school located approximately thirty minutes from Spokane.
