  • Elementary Families-As we prepare to welcome students back tomorrow, we wanted to remind our families of a couple things.  Please complete the attestation card that was handed out during your conference and send it to school with your children.  If you did not get one, bus drivers and school greeters will have them on hand to be completed prior to entering the school.  Also, if you have bus riders, your pick up times should be similar as last year.  Our transportation supervisor will reach out to you with differing times if needed and to families who are new to our district.  If you are a distance learning family, your teacher will be reaching out to you within the next couple days as we finalize activation for distance learning. Finally, we are excited to serve your children this year and look forward to better things to come.  Welcome Back!

Secondary Families-As we begin distance learning to start the school year for secondary students, we want to remind you of a couple things.  Your students should be getting emails sent to their school email addresses from their teachers inviting them to join their Google Classes.  If you did not attend a conference last week or do not have access to your student’s school email, please call the school for access information tomorrow morning.  If you are in online, self-paced courses, your classes are now active.  Check your school emails for access information.  Finally, courses from teachers are being taught live throughout the day and attendance will be taken daily.  Students will have multiple ways to make up missed class time.  Also, if you would like lunch, we will have a grab-n-go option beginning tomorrow where you can come to the school and pick up lunches to go from 11am-12pm.   Finally, we are excited to serve you this year and look forward to better things to come.  Welcome Back!

    Rosalia Schools Families,

Rosalia School District is committed to the health and safety of each of our students and staff members during this unprecedented time dealing with COVID-19.  Our duty and obligation is to educate students to the best of our professional ability.  The Rosalia Reopening Plan will give a brief overview of how that will be accomplished. I can assure you that we have taken this very seriously and this plan represents hours of work from staff, community members, administration and health officials. I want to thank each of them and each of you for voicing your thoughts and concerns. To the staff of Rosalia School District, I thank you, as well, for working so passionately and hard to ensure we offer and provide the very best we can for our students. As this plan is implemented, please understand that it is a fluid and dynamic plan. We may change our delivery system as determined by the COVID-19 outbreak levels in our community. The three delivery systems that will be used are; 1) face-to-face learning 2) distance learning 3) online learning. These systems will be explained in more detail later in the plan. This school year will be very different from any other school year in the history of education in our country, state and community. Please know I am available to discuss and listen to your thoughts and concerns. As a staff we are here to serve you and your children. In order for us to move forward in the different phases of our reopening plan, it will be critical for all of us to partner up in committing to wear our face masks, social distance and wash our hands regularly. This will control the spread of the virus and keep our COVID numbers low enough for our students to return to the traditional school se

    Sincerely,

    Rick Linehan, Superintendent
